FAQs
What makes Everyday People knitwear special?
We work with 100% natural fibres like cotton and mohair, sourced from conscious suppliers who care about people and the planet. Every piece is made locally in South Africa, crafted slowly and intentionally to ensure quality, comfort, and longevity.
Where is your knitwear made?
All our pieces are proudly made in South Africa, supporting small-scale production and skilled local artisans.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we do! We ship worldwide using FedEx. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location, and any import taxes or duties are the responsibility of the customer. You'll receive tracking details as soon as your order is on the way.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–2 working days and shipped via courier. Local delivery typically takes 2–5 working days, depending on your location. For international orders, delivery usually takes 7–14 working days, but this may vary depending on customs and destination.
How does sizing work?
Our garments are designed to be relaxed, comfortable, and flattering. Our one size sweaters are truly for everyone: from XS to XL. They're super stretchy with an oversized fit that drapes beautifully on all body types. For our other styles, sizing follows standard measurements. If a garment runs slightly bigger or smaller, we’ll always mention it on the product page. Still unsure? Feel free to pop us an email, we're happy to help!
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes, absolutely! If your item is unworn and in its original condition, you can return or exchange it within 7 days of receiving it. Please visit our Returns & Exchanges Policy for all the details.
Do you ever restock sold-out items?
Absolutely! Many of our styles are made in small batches to avoid overproduction. If something you love is sold out, feel free to email us or join our newsletter to get notified when it’s back.
Can I try on your garments in person?
We have a store at the Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, where you’ll find us trading on weekends. You can find more details about the market on our contact page.
How do I care for my knitwear?
We work with beautiful natural fibres like mohair and cotton, and each fibre has its own unique qualities. Our cotton pieces are easy to care for and machine washable, while mohair is naturally antibacterial and rarely needs washing. For more detailed care tips, head over to our Care Page: we’ve got all the info you need to keep your knitwear looking and feeling its best.
